Artist Statement
Born and educated in the Northern Virginia/North Carolina region, my love for nature and the outdoors has greatly influenced my view of art and life. I moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1979 to pursue new business opportunities and to experience the beauty of the surrounding desert and mountain regions. Upon retirement in 2005, my wife and I relocated to Travelers Rest, South Carolina to be closer to our kids, grandkids and other family members.

My acrylic pouring/painting techniques incorporate a lifetime of technical illustration and a love for artistic expression into creating artwork depicting landscapes, structures and nature. My goal is to share my enjoyment of abstract art with others in and outside of my community.
