BIO or Artist Statement
A Greenville based artist and a homeschooling mother of four, Jennifer enjoys a wide variety of art genres. Always experimenting with new techniques and ideas, her list of projects to finish is never ending! Jennifer's favorite and most prolific medium is pen and ink with watercolor. She has developed a unique style that works well with children's book illustration and framed art. The majority of her paintings are derived from her travels and photography she takes herself. Her favorite subjects are from her yearly camping trips to Hunting Island State Park. Her other interests include photography, sculpture, book writing and illustration. She has self-published a children's book called "Can You Hear the Wind" that is sold locally at Paris Mountain State Park and on her website.

Jennifer loves to incorporate scripture into her artwork and has several prints available in matted pieces and greeting cards. She has done several commissioned pieces with calligraphy. She has also done some digital illustration for a theological alphabet book for children that is currently in the process of book design before future publication. Jennifer is proud to be a part of the Maker's Market and the Alumni Christmas Market on BJU Campus where she has sold her prints and stationery.

Ever happy to pass her love for art on to the next generation, Jennifer has taught several art classes for homeschoolers both in a private and group class setting. You can follow the creative process of many of her pieces and see what she is currently working on through her Facebook page Art by Jen. She is delighted to be a part of White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery where she can share her love of fine art with others and find a new outlet for her creative work.
